Terms & Conditions

The site is NOT staffed at all times. The owners live next door and will be there at check-in times and available at short notice if required. Numbers for texting them are in the communal area so you can let them know if you need anything or have any queries.

You agree to take all reasonable precautions against personal injury, injury to others and damage to the woodland, facilities and accommodation, in respect of litter, fire, noise after 10.30pm.

Anything you bring to the site or wider woodland and any damage or loss to your possessions is at your own risk. You use the facilities and amenities at the camp and wider woodland at your own risk.

By booking you are acknowledging these Terms and Conditions, and that you are aware of the risks, hazards and dangers of personal injury in entering the campsite and woodland. (For example, the woodland contains deadly poisonous mushrooms, toadstools, and fungi).

 

Arrival and Departure

Accommodation will be ready by 3pm so we ask for arrivals between 3 and 6.30pm. You must advise us of your estimated arrival time. If you are likely to be later than 6.30pm please let us know as staff may not be on site after this time.

Guests are requested to vacate their accommodation and all communal areas by 10.30am on day of departure and please ensure that before doing so, you clear the accommodation as required:

   •  Remove all rubbish to the appropriate bins/recycling;
   •  Ensure no litter outside or around the accommodation (this is vital to ensure safety to wildlife);
   •  Wash up any dishes used; and
   •  Empty the communal fridge of all your belongings. Please don’t leave any food behind unless it is binned or composted.

Vehicle and Parking

Cars must remain in the parking area provided.

Cars are only included in the rate. If you are travelling with a touring caravan and/or a tent, they will need to be allocated a place on site.

Pets

Unfortunately, pets are not permitted because we have donkeys, goats and sheep on site, except for service dogs such as guide dogs.

Visitors

Visitors must leave the premises by 6 p.m.

Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee.

Camp Rules

No loud or amplified music/noise is permitted after 10:30pm. Owners live on site and our neighbours and community are always respected. Quiet time is between 10:30pm – 9am.

Any damage of Bluebell Lane property by adults or children must be reported to staff and will be charged for at market value of the items including extra cleaning or dry-cleaning costs incurred.

Absolutely No kicking ball against, climbing on or jumping off dry stone walls.

Bluebell Lane reserve the right to cancel a booking at short notice in the case of extreme weather or in the unlikely event that we cannot provide safe accommodation.

Guests are responsible for cleaning up after themselves. Communal spaces must always be kept tidy. Guests must leave the site in the same way that they found it.

Only the appropriate fuel, which can be purchased on site, can be used in the fire pit. (ie. kiln dried logs) The burning of coal, plastic, paper or cardboard is strictly prohibited.

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians. Children to be kept under close parental supervision at all times, especially around the play park, fire pits and the pond area. Bluebell Lane take no responsibility for any accidents and children play at their own risk.

In the event of a complaint, please speak to a member of staff immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management’s attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.

The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground, must not be placed on picnic tables and must be attended by an adult at all times.

Firearms are not permitted.
