Bluebell Lane Glamping is NOW open!
We are delighted to announce that Bluebell Lane Glamping will reopen on Monday 20th July and we very much look forward to welcoming you back to us within the Ring of Gullion.
We all agree that this has been a strange and trying time but we recognise that Bluebell Lane can offer our guests much needed respite and an opportunity to reconnect with nature in a safe and controlled environment. As a family run business it is our aim to ensure our facilities are safe and meet all of the most recent published government guidelines, for the protection of all who come and stay with us.
At Bluebell Lane Glamping we pride ourselves in providing a glamping experience with ‘A Sense of Space’. Nestled within a 26 acre native woodland, each glamping unit has its own dedicated outside area with picnic table, where you can sit out and enjoy the spectacular views of Slieve Gullion Mountain. Although we formerly operated with the sharing of bathroom facilities, we have now reviewed our operations and allocated a dedicated washroom with shower and toilet to each individual accommodation, for their sole use, during their stay. For your convenience and ongoing safety, sanitiser is positioned at various locations throughout the site. Clear signage will remind everyone to socially distance and to wash your hands regularly during your stay with us. We have always had a thorough cleaning regime between guest stays at our accommodation and we will meet in full all the cleaning requirements set out within published government guidelines.
By putting in place all these measures we hope to provide you with some clarity and reassurance on welcoming you back to Bluebell Lane.
We have a variety of accommodation for you to choose from;
Both the Red Squirrel Pod and the Pine Martin Pod each sleep a maximum of 4 in comfy camp beds while the Red Deer Pod sleeps 2 in a double bed. The Heron Crane Shepard’s Hut sleeps 3 in a double bed and single bunk arrangement and this accommodation also boasts a small kitchenette. Finally the Cuckoo Cottage Sleeps a maximum of 6, 2 single beds in each bedroom. This self-contained unit has its own kitchen area, living area and disabled access bathroom.
Unfortunately during this time we are unable to host campervans, caravans or camping tents. However, we will continue to review and monitor this situation and adapt our policy where possible and when appropriate. We have also had to change our policy on visitors bringing their pets to stay. We can no longer accept pets on site.
In addition we understand more than ever that you may wish to spend some quality time here with your loved ones. Bluebell Lane can now be booked for the exclusive use of an extended group who want to holiday with no one else on site. In this instance we can also make available to you the safari tent.
Finally we wish to thank everyone for the continued support and the lovely messages during this time. Your patience with us is much appreciated. We hope everyone is keeping well and safe and we hope to see you all very soon.
