About Us

Glamping Park Northern Ireland

Bluebell Lane is a unique site sitting at the foot of Slieve Gullion mountain in the heart of the Ring of Gullion, an area rich in lore and legend, history, archaeology and geology – an area as famous for its storytelling as it is for its natural rugged beauty.

Padraig and Sharon Carragher have developed this stunning natural site with over 20,000 native trees. Bluebell Lane is an ideal place to let yourself go and embrace the immersive accommodation experience that is Bluebell Lane. And why not try one of our woodturning experiences – the full day Celtic Bowl Woodturning Experience or the half-day Neolithic Pendant Experience – or any of the experiences provided by one of our partners and stay for a few days and explore Bluebell Lane and the surrounding area.

We take our commitment to the natural environment very seriously and have worked hard to create an environment for our natural flora and fauna to thrive. Our Green Policy outlines this commitment and our relationship with the Ring of Gullion Area of Natural Outstanding Beauty.

Brilliant site, staff were very helpful, facilities are great, there are 4 x showers, which are in wet rooms with a toilet with soap and a towel. There is also a big ke glamping pods, a cottage and several touring pitches with water and electricity on the pitch. There is also a large kitchen area with an outside fire area with logs for the fire as well as a pizza oven. There is also a kids play area and a forest walk and a wood turning studio onsite.

We arrived and were met by 2 very welcoming elves who invited into a beautifully decorated kitchen with a burning stove on the go , we were provided with hot chocolate for kids or mulled wine or Tea/ Coffee for adults. The kids then designed tree decorations which they brought home , the elves were very chatty and friendly .We then visited Mrs Claus in her Kitchen and she was amazing at interacting with kids and adults , was very believable in all her stories about the elves escapades unfortunately she informed us Santa hadn’t been home in hours and hours and she was worried about him as his stew was still sitting in the oven and it hitting night-time, she asked if we might go with buddy the elf on his very unique recently renovated and well decorated mode of transport and help him go look for Santa , we sang Christmas carols which helped speed up the wagon whilst travelling around the forest in our search, we also had to make a wee pitstop as we got a bit peckish ,and the elves showed us a little hut where we got to toast marshmallows, they were nothing short of scrumptious, on we went and eventually found Santa , he made loads of time to chat and craic to the adults and kids which was so enjoyable we nearly forgot about the presents he was to give us on leaving , we also got pictures (on our own devices so no extra charges)of Santa and us in his sleigh and then we headed back with Buddy the elf again . We were very happy with the whole experience and bare in mind we had kids of older ages only with us 9, 11×2, 12 and 13 . I can only speak for my two boys 9,11 both rated it 10/10 .I would definitely recommend. A great effort put in by all the wonderful people we met .

We’ve just returned from an absolutely wonderful stay at bluebell. Pádraig was fantastic, so accommodating and friendly. The pod was great, surrounding area really lovely for walks (literally on the site there’s a walk with fairy lights as well), was very scenic, we had our own picnic table and fire pit and the star gazing was unmatched. Thank you! We’ll be back for sure.

I did a 1 day beginners wood turning workshop at Bluebell Lane last autumn. It was a fabulous experience and I came home with a not too badly turned fruit bowl which continues to take pride of place on our kitchen table! We also stayed in a Shepherd’s hut on site for 2 nights which was fantastic.. What a beautiful place to stay and enjoy the locality.. I couldn’t recommend Bluebell Lane Glamping high enough.. We will definitely be back.. Its also a super place to bring young kids to!
